I am a summer girl and I am always sad when I have to say good bye to the long, warm summer days. The one thing that makes me love the next season are the fall colors! It is such a pretty time of the year. I love when the sun shines on the changing leaves. They almost seem to glow with color. Even on a cloudy day the fall colors look gorgeous. My favorites are the deep reds and the bright red-orange colors.
Anytime and in any weather the Fall time makes for beautiful photos. I had several fall photo sessions this year. This is just a small recap of some of the sessions. Each family was a pleasure and I really love all of these photos.
This was the road heading towards the park alive with fall colors!
This was a cool fall morning at the park.
I met these familes at Nescopeck State Park. The park was beautiful with all the fall colors.
The Carlin Family
This is one of my favorite familes. The girls were some of my first clients so I looked forward to taking their photos again. We had a chilly but sunny morning. It was a beautiful day for photos and it was perfect for the Carlin family photos.
The Greives Family
This family was such a joy to work with. We had a perfect sunny evening. The sun was setting and the fall colors were perfect. It made for beautiful photos. And I had two childern that loved getting their photos taken especially Miss Caitlin. She wanted me to make sure I took some photos of just her, all by herself. Too cute.
The Lazo Family
Heather contacted me about doing a family session and wanted to make sure that the colors were at peak. With their busy family schedule she wasn't able to get any photos done till the end of October, our schedules kept conflicting. I had a cancelation and let her know. She said it would work. They were going to be leaving that same afternoon to go to Florida and they were going to be suprising the kids with the trip. It was fun photographing them knowing that they were going to be so excited to see Mickey mouse!
The LeRoy Family
Amy had entered one of my give aways and had won a family session. She had wanted to wait for the fall and just happened to pick one of the best evenings to get the photos done. The colors were perfect. They were a fun family and I was even able to talk Amy to getting into a couple of the shots.
The Nesler Family
This is another great family that I got to photograph this fall. I had the pleasure of taking JJ's senior photos in August and at that time we had talked about doing a family session. Christine was excited to go to Nescopeck Park because they had never been there. It was a cloudy, rainy afternoon, but we made the most of it. We got some great shots and I finally know what everyones names are!!
Karen is my co worker and we had talked about getting some fall photos of her kids and her brother's two girls for quite a while. We lucked out on the day we chose because it was a warm beautiful day. We had a fun time. The kids were so easy to photograph. We kept the youngest one busy by looking for the T-rex that she said lived at the park. They loved the jumping photos the best.
The Andahazy Family
This family won a family session that I had donated to St. Judes art auction. It was my pleasure to meet them and take their photos. The cloudy weather really made the trees glow with color. The photos of miss "superstar" sitting on the bridge are some of my favorites.
The Sola Family
This family wanted to have pictures taken by the water. I had suggested Lake Francis at Nescopeck park. They were ok with it as they were new to the area and weren't sure of where we could go. When we got to the park the lake was so still that it was reflecting the trees and the sky. Perfect. We had to play with a yellow truck for a while before Mr. Jackson would cooperate but after a while we got it to work. He is a cutie. He wasn't too happy when his truck rolled down into the lake. Daddy to the rescue and saved the day.
Thank you everyone for letting me capture these memories for you and your families.
