After all the fall sessions the Holiday and Christmas card photos start. I love when we get a fresh coating of snow and I have a photo session scheduled. I get the question quite often.." What do you do when it snows?" I always answer the same way.."take pictures!" As long as it isn't freezing and we are having blizzard like conditions taking photos in the snow can be quite fun and beautiful. I had some families and an engaged couple take on the snow and you know what we got....awesome photos!! BAYLEE AND LJ I met this family at 7 Tubs Nature Center to get some photos for Christmas. We had received some snow a few days before and I was glad that there was some left at the park. I found my old sled at my parents house and wanted to use it in some photos. It worked out perfectly for Baylee and LJ to sit on. The snow and the background made the next picture look like Miss Baylee was a snow princess. She was a great poser! We were able to use one of my christmas banners. The kids like holding the banner. HO HO HO!! Thank you for letting me capture this time in Baylee and LJ's life. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! THE DIEVERT FAMILY I am always delighted to photograph this family. Stephanie needed some photos for her Christmas cards so off we went to a place near Nuangola Lake. We had just received some snow so the ground was covered and the lake had a little ice on it. It was so pretty. After we took a few shots indoors we headed outside. These are a couple of my favorites. This next photo was one of those happy unplanned moments. I had asked Ashlyn to pose for me so that I could adjustment my camera settings. This is the too cute image I captured. I love these photos. I love the lake in the background. I love the way the colors pop in the photos against the white snow. Perfect family photos. Thank you Dievert Family for letting me capture these memories for you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. NICOLE AND MARC I met these two over a year ago. I photographed them at Hickory Run State Park on a sunny fall afternoon. I was excited to see them again. This time we met at Nescopeck Park and we had snow on the ground. It was the first time I had been to the park in the winter and I will go back. The lake was pretty with the snow covered trees. As we were walking around the park with their furry 4 legged baby, Apex, Marc told me that they had gotten engaged a few weeks ago. How exciting. They are so cute together. We had a fun time and these are some of my favorites from the session. May you have a fun egagement and I hope that I will see you two again.
