Blyss and Tony...Married | a modern romantic wedding | South new jersey wedding | Hammonton, New Jersey
Blyss and Tony have known each other for a long time. The two of them crossed paths continually for three years before their love story officially began. They first met at the age of 15, through mutual friends. And then fast-forward three years on September 7th, 2010 they met again.
Blyss was a waitress at a local restaurant and Tony came in to eat with a group of friends to celebrate his friend's birthday. They were both 18, and freshmen in college. Tony couldn't keep his eyes off of Blyss. A mutual friend helped them exchange numbers. Three days later they had their first date...and they have been together ever since.
Tony proposed to Blyss at their favorite Italian restaurant. Behind the doors of a private room in the restaurant waited Blyss and Tony's closest friends and family. He got down on one knee, and after she said yes they got to celebrate their engagement surrounded by their favorite people.
Fast-forward another nine years and these two have a dog, own a house, and are officially married!!
It was a beautiful day to get married
I started the day photographing the groomsmen. As the guys were getting ready everyone was all in good spirits and Tony definitely felt at ease being surrounded by his close friends and family. The guys were excited for their group groomsmen shots, and I had fun taking them! Tony and Blyss's dog Samson also made an appearance dressed in his own little tuxedo!
Then I headed on over to Blyss's parents home to get the bride and bridesmaid's getting ready photos. The house was filled with beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets as well as blush dresses for the bridesmaids. I made sure to capture as much as possible including some beautiful detail shots of her ring, accessories, and dress.
Everyone looked absolutely stunning in their matching robes. Blyss's wedding dress looked perfect on her. The girls hadn't seen Blyss's dress yet so I got to capture a first look with her girls and then with her dad which are always some of my favorite moments to capture.
Blyss loved reading the card Tony wrote for her and opening the gifts he picked out for her. She was truly soaking everything in on this day, and her love for Tony shone through her eyes at every mention of his name before the ceremony.
Blyss and Tony had a catholic ceremony at Saint Joseph's Church. A gorgeous church with pretty stained glass windows. It was a beautiful mass with family doing the readings.
I can't say enough how gorgeous this bride looked walking down the aisle. Tony's eyes lit up the second he saw her. Blyss shared with me how this was the most special moment of the day for her...seeing Tony at the end of the aisle.
,The flower girl in the wedding is actually the daughter of Blyss' mother's flower girl from her wedding! Very special and touching to see things come full circle like that! After the couple said their "I Do's", they exited the church to bubbles being blown and surrounded by their closest friends and family.
After the ceremony we went to Hammonton Lake for more photos. The bridal party was super fun. They made my job easy and they had fun walking and posing for me!
The way Blyss and Tony looked at each other screamed true love, They really are so cute together and compliment each other so well. Blyss posed with her stylish gift that said her new name on it, Mrs. Enright! I snapped a few more photos of the newlyweds then we took a quick detour to their home before the reception! Why? To get some photos with their fur baby, Samson, of course!
The reception was at The Estate at Monroe in Williamstown. The venue was beautiful. When they chose their venue they knew it was the one, and the large cursive 'E' on the outside felt perfect. They began with a cocktail hour featuring a signature drink "Samson's Sangria" and guests relaxed and mingled and then they went right into the reception.
The reception started with introductions of the bridal party and slowly eased into Tony and Blyss sharing their first dance to their song, Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley. Blyss and her father danced to The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra, and Tony and his mother to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd!
After dinner, speeches, and toasts of celebrations everyone headed to the dance floor. The DJ knew how to work the crowd and soon enough the floor was rocking. Tony and Blyss enjoyed themselves with their friends, family, and guests! It was a fun night with lots of dancing, love, laughter, and a photo-booth! One of the special moments from the reception was that Blyss's cousin on her dad's side caught her bouquet and her cousin on her mom's side caught the garter. She laughed so hard watching her cousin walk up to her other cousin to put the garter on her leg.
The newlyweds left their reception to their loved ones holding sparklers up and lighting their way! Their last kiss of the night for me....was perfect!!
Tony and Blyss I was so honored to be a part of your special day, It was truly magical!
I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness

I choose you. And I will choose you, over and over and over. Without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat I'll keep choosing you - author unknown
Meet Stephanie and Joe
Stephanie and Joe met online, and their first date was to see a movie. They have been inseparable ever since! They are such a sweet couple. I loved getting to know them better and hearing their love story.
Their engagement happened on a quick weekend trip to Cape May. One morning they woke up early and went for a walk on the beach. Little did Stephanie know that as they were staring out at the water together Joe would get down on one knee and ask her to marry him. With the Cape May Lighthouse, the ocean breeze, and crashing of the waves...it created the perfect beginning to the rest of their lives together.
They both adore movies, whether they are going to the movies or staying in for the night. They both enjoy watching Yankees baseball games, and they love popcorn and root beer floats! Stephanie loves how much Joe not only tells her that he loves her, but shows it to her everyday. And Joe loves how Stephanie is his best friend, and love how they are always happy as long as they are together.
These two are perfect for each other, and the love they have for each other was evident from the moment I met them.
For their engagement shoot, we chose the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse in Wildwood, New Jersey. As many know this is one of my favorite places to photograph couples. We started out in the gorgeous garden and then headed to the beach. We picked some wildflowers for Stephanie to carry as a prop, and the filtered light peaking through the clouds created the perfect atmosphere for some beautiful photographs.
They are getting married on the beach in Cape May next year, making their engagement and wedding day come full circle. They plan on having an intimate beach ceremony surrounding by friends, family, and loved ones.
As I said before, the love these two share is evident as they twirled in the sand, played in the water, and stole loving glances at each other. Couples like this makes my job easy.
I am looking forward to their wedding day. Beach weddings are one of my absolute favorites to photograph...I may be a bit biased though!
Congratulations Stephanie and Joe, I am honored to have photographed these memories for you and I wish you so much love and happiness.
