Beach days = Best days
The shore session is starting and I couldn't be happier! I love walking in the sand capturing families memories. I can't think of a better place to do my thing! I can't call it a job because I never feel like I am going to work.
I met the Alvarez Family by the fishing pier in Ocean city. We lucked out and had a beautiful spring evening! The breeze was light and the sun was bright. We started with some family shots right by the pier. Roman, who is a ball of energy, couldn't wait to get his feet wet. I was able to catch a lot of moments of him playing with his parents in the water. I love when the sun hits the sand right and you can see the everyone's reflection. It makes for some neat photos!
This family ran in the ocean, played in the sand and walked along the ocean's edge. I loved the sun light by the dunes. We took several shots there and the light was just gorgeous! I asked Agota and Randy to play with Roman. I got some great shots of him laughing and his parents watching him. Perfect shots.
Before I left we did a couple of shots right under the fishing pier. I love the way the pier frames the family. We had a great session and I loved getting the season started with this family.

Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control - author unknown
Megan and Brandon
April 13, 2019
I was so excited about meeting these two at Hillside Farms. I loved doing sessions there when I lived in Pa. The farms and the old greenhouses are such great backdrops. The other reason I was excited was I have known these two for a few years now and my daughter has known them since high school. I photographed Megan's brother, Bernie's wedding and Megan's sister in law, Tina's brothers wedding. Phew...that was a mouth full! I love the families and can't wait to photograph another wedding with them!
Megan and Brandon are high school sweethearts. They meet in ninth grade and recently celebrated their 8th year anniversary. They are so cute together. I can see how they make each other laugh. When I asked them to do certain poses they just connected. You could see and feel the love.
We started out the session with their fur babies. I love that they included them in their session for some of the photos! Both moms came along to babysit the dogs. I was glad they were there because they became my assistants, including blocking the sun! We walked around the farm using the old greenhouses and old gates that had the initial of C on them. Kinda cool since their last name will be Cole. We practiced all the core poses and they are ready for the wedding day!
I am looking forward to seeing them get married in September!
When these photos were taken it was only 168 days away!
